Well, I can't believe I have created a blog about the OC-3 but it has taken on a bit of a life of its own and the blog will make it easier to share the adventures (or misadventures) with others. I've been emailing quite a few pictures and text explainations lately and it takes a bit of time and I'm sure I'm filling up some email accounts with the pictures.
The blog title is also an indicator of how this has gone to another level. The term "restoration" is something I didn't think I'd be using at this point. It was supposed to be some general "maintenance" and off to EPW's for some spring time landscaping. Like layers of an onion or better yet a dog you get from the pound. . .I soon learned this old girl has been abused and misused over time.
I'll do some entries about the history of this acquisition and where we've been since then in the next day or so. I'll then try to do a step-by-step update of the mechanical "restoration" up to current status. From there, I'll try to do some regular updates when there has been progress or set-backs.
