Well, my wishes were answered by the Engine Hoist Fairy (my dad). It proved to be the right tool for the job. The dozer mounting structure came off quick and easy. The pictures below are before and after shots (left=before & right=after). I'm sure the engine hoist will be great asset in the future. Thanks again, engine hoist fairy.

I have a knock in my Oliver OC-3 dozers engine, and I'm hoping to pull the engine soon so my mechanic can fix it. He has asked me to find out any information available about how to pull the engine, since he is more of a car mechanic. Can you give me any hints or clues as to the best method for pulling the engine ? Any information you provide would be greatly appreciated, as there is very little information online about Oliver dozers
